Harry Potter Tour from London - Oxford & Lacock Abbey

Join us on a spellbinding Harry Potter tour from London that takes us behind the scenes of the Harry Potter films and into the world that inspired them. Visit the real-life Hogwarts 'halls' of Oxford University and 'classrooms' of Lacock Abbey and numerous settings from the films – this is the ultimate Potterhead experience.

 


Our small-group Harry Potter day trip from London begins by travelling away from the city to the west towards Oxford. Along the way, your friendly Driver-Guide will set the scene with stories from the wizarding world and behind-the-scenes trivia.

 

After a comfortable journey we'll arrive into Oxford where we'll have plenty of time to explore. Take a walking tour of Oxford's colleges and visit filming locations that were used throughout the series, including:

 

  • Christchurch College (Hogwarts staircase and Great Hall)
  • The Divinity School (Hogwarts' hospital wing)
  • New College (where Mad-Eye turns Draco into a ferret)
  • The Bodlean Library (Hogwarts Library)

 

We'll also have free time to explore, grab a bite to eat or pop into a few wizard-worthy bookshops.

 

After lunch in Oxford we'll set off through the charming English countryside, winding our way to the quaint village of Lacock. Here we can visit the historic Lacock Abbey, which was used numerously for filming Hogwarts scenes, including Snape's classroom, Quirrel's classroom, the mirror of Erised room and many corridors. We'll also have time to explore the pretty village which was used as a background in multiple films, including Professor Slughorn's house!

 

Return to London

After a trip full of magic our Harry Potter day tour from London concludes. We'll return to Urban Baristas by approximately 5:30pm.
