"Breathtaking" views and comfortable transport highlighted. Some noted one guide lacked depth. One review mentioned uncomfortable seating on longer journeys.

  • The views were absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of time for a nice walk to the lighthouse.
  • The small group size was good and the bus was very comfortable.
  • He was exceptional, and I highly recommend him for his depth of knowledge on English history.

Brighton & Seven Sisters

I had a wonderful day with Go Tours UK on a day trip to Brighton & Seven Sisters. Both destinations were very worth of seeing. The minibus was very nice, since it was able to be driven through narrow country roads where a bigger bus wouldn't be able to go. Timetable was well planned; enough time in both destinations but not too much.

Thank you so much for this. We are really pleased you enjoyed both Brighton and Seven Sisters and that the day felt well paced. You make a great point about the minibus too as it really does open up routes and landscapes that larger coaches simply cannot reach. We hope to welcome you back on another tour soon. Cheers, James

Not to be missed

We had a wonderful day exploring Brighton and the south downs area of the seven sisters. The weather was very kind to us. We enjoyed walking along Brighton pebble beach with our fish and chips. The pier was closed until midday but we were still able to admire it’s Victorian structure. The on to the Seven Sisters with our very capable driver / guide Robert. We were able to admire the cliffs both from the beach and the top of cliffs at the lighthouse. The sun shining on the seven sisters displayed their full grandeur. We have travelled with go tours over several years and always enjoyed the tours

Sunshine on the Seven Sisters is hard to beat — and fish and chips on Brighton beach, lovely stuff! Really glad Robert looked after you well, and thanks for sticking with us over the years, it means a lot.
Cheers, James

Personalized Experience

A friend and I took this tour with our tour guide Len. He was exceptional, and I highly recommend him for his depth of knowledge on English history and in general. The tour of Brighton gave us some two hours, sufficient time to view the pavilion and a bit of the city itself. We then went on to see the white cliffs of Dover, which proved to be surprisingly interesting. The weather in November was cold and blustery, which somehow was very fitting. The GoTour tour van is compact and seats, perhaps 20 people, which makes for an intimate tour experience and the ability to drive into places that the larger tour buses other companies use cannot navigate. I highly recommend this company, and Len in particular. I will be utilizing them in the future when I return to the UK.

Dear Frank,
Really glad Len looked after you well — and the small van really does make all the difference on those narrower roads. Cold and blustery at the White Cliffs in November, couldn't be more fitting. See you next time.
Cheers, James

A great Day

My family and I took the Brighton / Birling Gap Seven Sisters tour with Ash as our guide, and it was a fantastic day. The tour was interesting and informative, and Ash made it a lot of fun. He gave us the full "British Experience" from a great UK soundtrack on the bus to seaside winds. Ash was a terrific host getting to know everyone's name so he could relate relevant information to each of us. His suggestions about things to do, places to go etc were bang on. Some of the guests were a little frail, and he made sure they were not left out. Taking a detour to see the ancient chalk figures in the hill (aka graffiti tour) was also really interesting and appreciated. I strongly recommend the Brighton & Seven Sisters Tour from London from Go Tours UK.

Brighton and The Seven Sisters

What a WONDERFUL day!!! The English weather did not cooperate but Glenn made the day a perfect one. His humor, great narrative and music were spot on. We spent just enough time in Brighton and at the Seven Sisters. We were even treated to a bonus stop where we were able to view the Seven Sisters from a different vantage point without all of the crowds. If you’re wanting to book day trips from London make sure you book the trip with GO-Tours!!!

Brighton, the Lanes and Seven Sisters

Wonderful day trip to Brighton and the Seven Sisters. Greg was our driver/guide, he was professional and knowledgable on both areas. Enjoyed shopping the Lanes, so many unique shops and restaraunts. Had lunch on the beach then off to the Seven Sisters white cliffs!! Sun came out and afforded us some nice photo opportunities. Highly recommend for a day away from Londons hustle and bustle!!

Great views and friendly guides.

Tour was excellent and Len was a friendly, funny and knowledgeable guide with lots of cool facts that kept the journey interesting. Excellent views, especially of the seven sisters and enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of time/freedom to explore on your own at each location. Overall, an awesome day out. Highly recommended

The most unbelievable tour … do it!

Jamie was an absolute legend. The most amazing driver, through some incredible laneways to beautiful little villages, with fantastic knowledge of all the areas including some not on the itinerary (to satisfy the passengers requirements)!
He was so joyful and happy the whole trip and made us feel very special.
He brought us together like a family.
We will recommend this to our Australian friends and request Jamie to be the tour guide/driver.
Will never forget Jamie and our tour with him.

Wonderful day out!

This was a master class of how a tour should be. Punctual and yet relaxed. Informative and yet plenty of free time to self discover. Well done Kevin our tour guide. Brighton is so atmospheric and the Seven Sisters magnificent. We'll worthwhile!

Nostalgic Seaside and Spectacular Views.

Had a fabulous day trip with Kevin today! Great commentary and upbeat vibe throughout the tour. Loved that we were at Brighton before the crowds and we went to a spectacular lookout for the Seven Sisters that was less crowded.
Highly recommend this tour, as it was much more personable that a big tourist bus.

Wonderful scenery, excellent services by our guide

Excellent tour . Lenn, our guide and driver, gave us lots of info about London, Brighton and the Seven Sisters. We got great views of the cliffs from the top and the bottom at the visitor center. Brighton is beautiful. The scenery on the drive there and back is just gorgeous.

Great day out of the city

Excellent day. Our guide was exceptional. he gave the itinerary clearly before we started out and he stuck to the plan. He dropped us off exactly where he had picked us up first thing in the morning. The length of time in each place I felt was just right. I enjoyed the day out of the city. Go Yours staff made the day simple for tourists. took good care. making a reservation was simple, and everything went as planned. Previous to the the trip I had made contact for some extra information. the email reply person was very considerate and efficient. I appreciated it.

Lovely to hear the day ran like clockwork, that's exactly the plan. Glad the office team sorted you out before the trip too, they don't always get a mention so it's nice when they do. Cheers for the kind words and for choosing us for your day out of the city. Thanks, Maya

Comfortable transportation, not a guided tour

While the van that picked us up was new and comfortable with great air con, I was disappointed with our tour guide. He was friendly and made a few jokes introducing himself and the rules of the day, but unfortunately he was really a driver and not a tour guide. I would have loved historical information about the places visited (outside a few high level facts) and engagement with the group. Additionally while it was fun to listen to an all British playlist in the background, the noise level made it very difficult to grab his attention to learn or ask questions.

Hi Alison,

Thanks for the useful feedback on the music, we'll pass that along so it's easier to hear and ask questions next time. Each guide does have their own style, and we try to strike a balance rather than overload the drive with history, but it sounds like the balance was off for you on this one. Our tours lean on self-exploration once you're at each stop, though guides should still be easy to flag down for questions along the way. Really useful feedback, thank you.

Best, Maya

Beautiful scenic and fun day trip! (Female solo traveller)

I had a great time on the Brighton & Seven Sisters tour! Claire provided lots of great insights about the London area as we drove through and the atmosphere at our destinations was very calming and inviting. The small group size was good and the bus was very comfortable. My favourite parts included exploring the boutique shops in Brighton, getting fish and chips, and enjoying the wonderful views. Highly recommend this day trip!

Dear Louise,
Claire's commentary on the way down always sets the day up nicely, glad it landed well with you. Brighton's boutiques and a proper portion of fish and chips sound like the perfect way to experience Brighton. Thanks for travelling with us.
Thanks, Maya

enjoyable day at the seven sisters

our tour guide + driver is super friendly and provided interesting fun facts of the UK on our way to brighton and seven sisters. the weather was perfect and we get enough time to explore the lighthouse up on the top of the seven sisters cliffs. highly recommend this day tour! no admission fees required as we get to explore both brighton and the seven sisters on our own

Dear Chloe, Glad our driver-guide was able to share her knowledge in an interesting way. Sounds like the weather gods were on your side for that lighthouse walk above the Seven Sisters, not something we can promise every time. Lovely that you had the freedom to explore Brighton and the cliffs at your own pace, that's very much the idea. Thanks, Maya

It was an incredible tour. My girlfriend got the opportunity to visit Brighton which she hadn't been before and for us it was the first time visiting the Seven Sisters.

Spectacular beaches and scenery

Brighton is such a fantastic place to visit - full of great little shops and good coffee , lively atmosphere and a beautiful clean beach that seems to go on forever. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Seven Sisters. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of time for a nice walk to the lighthouse. Afterwards, you can sit yourself down on the beach and enjoy the sound of the waves. Our driver and guide, was fantastic, providing history and information on the sites we visited. There was ample time to enjoy ourselves. A wonderful day out that I'd recommend to anyone.

Dear Liam,
The Seven Sisters never fail to impress — glad you had time to take it all in properly. Really pleased it made for such a good day out.
Cheers, James
