Amazing tour. Chris S was amazing,driver extraordinaire, funny, helpful, just made the tour that much better. Great itinerary, wasn’t too rushed, lots of spare time to enjoy. Small group, so very friendly and sad to say goodbye on day 5.

This tour with Christian surpassed my expectations. Thank you. For those of you considering Go UK tours, here are a few differences from other small group tours I have taken:
- You are on your own for lunch and dinner everyday. Unless you make an effort you won’t get to know the other folks (most socializing happens at meals). Also, you need to add the cost of the meals to the tour cost.
- Go UK does NOT provide tours at the locations. You are on your own (with one exception - we paid for a tour of Port Isaac). Your Driver will provide you with lots of info as they drive but s/he stays in the van while you see the sites.
- You handle your own luggage. This is good if you don’t want to have to put your suitcase outside your hotel room at 7am. Bad if you don’t want to carry your stuff - sometimes up and down stairs.

Due to these factors I consider Go UK tours to provide bare-bones tours. My Partner and I were very happy with it, but you should consider your own travel style

The tour guide and travel was all fine but The Cotswolds overall didn’t meet my expectations. I thought there would be more of a quaint village feel but it felt more like a congested tourist trap. There were a few interesting historical things but not much.

A wonderful day tour to Clarkson's Farm. Tony our driver was super nice and made the trip so interesting. He made sure to show us the highlights and hidden gems along the way, we had lots of time left to visit the farm shop brewery and the Farmers Dog Pub nothing felt rushed. Tony's choice of music was also very relaxing . I have done 8 day tours and I can highly recommend Go Tours.

We spent the day with Kevin of Mad Max tours. Pick up was easy, and location was convenient. We headed off a few mintues early as everyone arrived early. This continued to be the trend throughout the day. Kevin kept us engaged the entire time by sharing interesting information and stories. We had plenty of time to explore the different towns, take pictures, etc.

What a great tour. My wife and I love London and spent a week there (doing our own arrangements). But we also wanted to go north and didn't want to deal with arranging accommodations, transportation, etc. We also didn't want a big tour bus. Go UK Tours was perfect. There were 11 from London (Aussies and Americans) and 2 more joined in York (Aussies). A group of us in the same B&B (some are in a hotel and others in a separate B&B) ate together every night in a classic British Pub and really had fun. This small group travel style made stops efficient and conversation fun - we got to know each other. Rob was an expert driver (on some hairy rides and small streets), it was well paced, and the van is really nice. The B&B accommodations we used were fine - nothing exceptional, but quite fine. Consider looking at the places you'll stop, the entrance fees, and whether it is worth it to buy a National Trust Explorer or Annual Pass. We would probably have saved some money (especially including our time in London). Our driver (Rob) was humorous and interacted with us just the right amount. This trip is probably best for adults as the distances (couple hours) can sometimes be long-ish between stops and children might get restless (and there is no bathroom on the van). We have never booked a tour (always traveled with our own arrangements) and would definitely book on Go Tours UK again (and confirmed for us we would not book a larger tour bus).

Highly recommend Go Tours UK and our guide, Claire. We learned so much and had a magnificent trip. Very convenient that they can pick you up/drop you off in London from the Holiday Inn Kensington. Our experience was so enjoyable that we're contemplating another trip with Go Tours UK to Cornwall.

This was such a wonderful tour to the Cotswolds and Bill was a fantastic guide. Part walking, part minivan; it was a good change to our previous days’ walking tours. Beautiful towns, small group, well guided (by Bill) and an all around great tour.

We had a great time with our Tour Guide Nigel. It was a long trip and he kept us entertained with British music, history facts, jokes, and silence too!
The Cotwolds was scenic and welcoming.
My suggestion to the company is to maybe limit the tour to three stops with a little more time at each one.

Clare did an exceptional job driving and providing information pertaining to the area we were in. The big pit and st Fagans museum excellent spots to learn about Wales. Snowdonia is beautiful as well as the many seaside villages we visited. Pembroke Castle was amazing.
The tour provided at the castle was well received. This was our second 5 day tour with goUK. Starts in London. Endless sites to there as well.

This is the best way to visit Jeremy's enterprise! Like the structure of the itinerary and the choice of stop offs. Tony ( our driver and guide) was very knowledgeable and cared about our experience. I would give it five stars across the board for value for money and was a really great day. Go tours are very much a leader in this field.

Fabulous day in the Cotswolds. Bus was very comfortable. Our guide Liam was amazing. Great facts, fun facts and tips. Played great music from singers of England. Made the ride fly by! He was so funny & charming. Highly recommend this trip.

Gerry did a fabulous job!! Showed us more than we expected and was very friendly and informative! It was wonderful to not worry about driving on narrow roads or having to look for parking spaces. We would highly recommend taking a tour.

We just completed the 5-day Best of Wales tour with Go Tours UK, and what an absolutely wonderful experience! After spending five days traveling through this beautiful country, we came away with a much greater appreciation for Wales—its spectacular scenery, fascinating history, charming towns and villages, castles, coastline, and especially its people.

The itinerary was excellent and gave us an opportunity to experience an amazing variety of Wales in a relatively short period of time. From the mountains and valleys of Eryri (Snowdonia) and the Brecon Beacons to historic castles, the Welsh coast, St Davids, Tenby, Aberystwyth, and so many memorable stops along the way, there always seemed to be something new around the next corner.

But as good as the itinerary was, the person who truly made this trip exceptional was our driver-guide, Claire.

Claire was phenomenal from beginning to end. Being responsible for a group of travelers for five days requires far more than simply driving from one destination to another, and Claire handled every aspect of the trip wonderfully. She kept everyone organized, aligned, and on time without ever making the tour feel rushed or regimented. That is a difficult balance to achieve, and she made it look effortless.

What impressed us most was the way Claire genuinely looked after everyone in our group. She quickly got to know us, paid attention to individual needs and interests, and did everything she could to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. She was patient, accommodating, personable, and always seemed to be thinking one step ahead.

She was also an excellent guide. Her commentary, stories, and knowledge of Wales added so much context to the places we were seeing. Rather than simply driving through beautiful scenery, we learned about Welsh history, culture, traditions, communities, and the significance of the places we visited. Claire made the time on the road part of the experience rather than simply transportation between stops.

And she made it fun! Over five days, a group of strangers can either remain a collection of individual travelers or begin to feel like a little traveling family. Claire helped create the latter. There was plenty of conversation, laughter, and good humor along the way, and by the end of the tour we had shared an experience together rather than simply followed an itinerary.

We also have tremendous respect for Claire’s driving. Some of those narrow and winding Welsh roads are certainly not roads we would have wanted to navigate ourselves! We always felt completely comfortable and safe with her behind the wheel.

This was exactly what we hoped a small-group tour of Wales would be. We saw an incredible amount without having to worry about driving, parking, logistics, or figuring out how to connect all of these wonderful places ourselves. We could simply enjoy Wales.

We returned from the tour with hundreds of photographs, wonderful memories, a much better understanding of Wales, and a real appreciation for the country and its people.

Go Tours UK put together a terrific tour, but Claire turned a terrific itinerary into an unforgettable experience.

If you are considering the 5-day Best of Wales tour, we would wholeheartedly recommend it. And if you are fortunate enough to have Claire as your driver-guide, you are in exceptionally good hands.

This tour was outstanding! We have been world travellers for decades and have always self-directed our road trips. This was our first foray into a group guided tour and it is doubtful any future experiences can top this. GOToursUK is a beautifully managed company. Canterbury & The White Cliffs of Dover…

One of the most fun memorable day trips for me ever, after flying from New Zealand
especially to see The White Cliffs..

Liam was fun, professional, extremely knowledgeable of the entire trip, played the most wonderful music and generally made the trip next level‼️

We left London 8:25am sharp and returned 5:30pm on the same day

As we got close to Dover, the sun came out and it topped off an already brilliant trip 🌞

This is honestly beyond my expectation. The customer service from the guide is beyond. Maybe I’m comparing with the USA anyway I’m impressed with the guide Olly and also the beautiful Cotswold.

Our guide Liam was great. There wasn’t really enough time in each of the stops to even really get a sense for the location.

If you are visiting the Bath area, do yourself a massive favor and book with Mad Max Tours — specifically with Bill if you can get him!

Our day in the Cotswolds was absolute perfection. Bill made sure we hit all the must-see spots, but he also went out of his way to drive right through smaller, picturesque villages we didn’t have time to stop in, giving us a front-row view from the coach. He even had a few wonderful surprises tucked up his sleeve for us throughout the day! He was so warm, funny, and shared fascinating history and trivia without ever making the commentary feel draining or nonstop.

A few things that made this tour stand out above the rest:
The bus — Hands down the best tour bus I’ve ever been on. Super comfortable, the temperature was just right the whole day, and the sightlines meant there wasn’t a single bad seat.
Group size: Just the right size. Everything ran seamlessly, and we never spent precious vacation time waiting around for a huge crowd.
Pacing: Naturally, you’ll fall in love with every village and wish you could stay forever, but the itinerary strikes the perfect balance… giving you ample time to explore each stop while truly maximizing how much you get to experience in one day.

I couldn't recommend this tour more highly to anyone heading to Bath!

We enjoyed 5 days in Cornwall and the Cotswolds with our magnificent driver and clever tour guide, Len. A congenial group filled our 16 passenger bus. It was a great way to enjoy the English countryside with no responsibility driving or planning. Len did an excellent job describing the areas and telling stories to impart the history. We stayed in the B and Bs. These are somewhat different than those in the US…. More like a small inn. Falmouth was charming with full breakfast. Exeter had more amenities (including an elevator) but minimal breakfast. Both were well located with nearby restaurants, shops and sights.
Go Tours clearly runs a well tuned company. Communication was good and timing was as expected. I recommend!

This full-day trip was fun, interesting, educational, scenic, and a complete delight! My wife and I are so happy we went! Our driver was Liam. He provided a great deal of information all along the route; we learn so much! He even knew the countryside well enough to develop a detour when a remote bridge was closed unexpectedly. The “revised route” was on some very narrow roads that provided some spectacular scenery, which wouldn’t have been otherwise. We would have liked to have been able to spend more time at each stop, but it wasn’t possible given the trip was only one day. If you are looking for a tour to see the Cotswold countryside and a break from the hustle and bustle in London, we highly recommend this tour.

The tour I took was the two-day Cotswold, Bath and Stonehenge trip.

The two days I spent on this tour were outstanding. I can’t speak highly enough about our guide/driver Kevin. He is professional, knowledgeable and super funny.

He gave us so much great information about the history of the area and what we were going to see. His driving skills are first rate and we always felt safe with him at the wheel.

We visited seven villages in The Cotswolds: Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the water, Bibury, Cirencester, Castle Combe and Tetbury, where we spent the night in a lovely hotel.

We had a nice long visit to the beautiful and historic town of Bath followed by our last stop which was Stonehenge. I’ve been on many tours around the world and this one ranks up there at the top of the list.
