We loved your Best of Wales tour which we took from 19 to 23 October.
Visiting Wales was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment decision for us. We’d never been there before, and we’re so glad we followed our English friend’s advice and chose this tour. The five days were packed with interesting stops, from lovely little towns to abbeys and even a mine. We saw far more than we would have managed on our own in the same amount of time.
A special thank you to our guide, David, who was also our driver and did both jobs brilliantly. He was charming, genuinely friendly, and a wonderfully expressive storyteller with such a pleasant voice. It was a real pleasure listening to him. We loved his choice of music, too, and the way he used both stories and songs to give us a taste of British culture along the way. He made everyone feel at ease, and with such a lovely small group and a comfortable minibus, even the longer drives were enjoyable.
Aberystwyth was a particular highlight, and we loved our hotel there. The weather actually added to the experience. It made the sea and the coastline feel all the more dramatic and atmospheric.
We’d happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Wales for the first time. Thank you for such a memorable trip!

Our guide Liam was excellent, professional, friendly and was great all rounder - a key factor in success of our tour. Tour travel mates were easy to get along with. We enjoyed the tour and also got a better understanding of Wales history. We also enjoyed music and poems (yes!) arranged by Liam.

Rob was very knowledgable and informative with a great sense of humour, making our trip to the Cotswolds very enjoyable. His recommendations at each destination were much appreciated. I didn't expect there to be so much to see and do, and only wish we had more time! The whole process through Go Tours UK was seamless, we also previously toured Canterbury and the White Cliffs of Dover with Tony which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend and we would definitely travel with them again!

Awesome trip overall! Lots of variety in the our stops. I felt like I got a great overview of the Cotswolds. Our tour guide Christian was fantastic! He made the journeys in the van interesting with his facts about the Cotswolds and England’s broader history, as well as his intriguing storytelling. He also showed a genuine interest in how we were enjoying our trip, and what brought us to do this Cotswolds tour. Would highly recommend this tour (max. 16 people) compared to the larger tours with more people as you get a more intimate experience.
