Friendly small-group Stonehenge & Windsor tour from London
Five thousand years of history
Stonehenge is one of the most visited prehistoric sites in the world, and one of the least understood. The visitor centre exhibition puts the scale of the achievement into context. The stones do the rest.
A castle still in use
Windsor has been a royal residence since the 11th century. The State Apartments are filled with pieces from the Royal Collection, and St George's Chapel, where ten monarchs are buried, is one of the finest medieval chapels in England.
Time to take it in
1hr 30min at Stonehenge and over three hours in Windsor. Enough for a proper lunch, the castle, and a walk, without your guide moving you along before you're ready.
