We met at a coffee shop before boarding a clean, comfortable coach van. Our driver, Chris S., shared interesting and informative details about the area as we traveled. We visited four charming villages, although Arlington Row felt a bit unnecessary.
In Bourton-on-the-Water, I had a great sandwich at Fresh for Lunch, the Peri Peri sandwich is an excellent choice if you enjoy mild spice. Others in our group ate at The Den, which offers an extensive gluten-free selection. Stow-on-the-Wold was perfect for antique browsing, and Burford had excellent shopping.
Overall, the experience was wonderful and flew by far too quickly. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting London or the surrounding area.
The tour was amazing.
The guide, Tom, with his knowledge and curiosities made the tour very interesting.
His gentle driving and his sympathy made the difference.
The Bus was small, capacity for 16 people, which made the tour more enriching by the possibility of crossing narrow paths.
I recommend Rabbie’s small group tours.
Because it is 16 people the tour becomes more welcoming and personal.
The Cotswolds are unreal...
Beautiful and ironic scene.
Time has stood still.
From the start (meeting with Gerry our tour guide) our day in the Cotswolds was a treat. Gerry is full of fun historical information he shares throughout the tour. We had a small group of 13, which was a perfect amount of people to get to know and interact with throughout the day. We were able to stop in many of the quaint towns to walk around and explore. I believe the price of the tour was reasonable. Good value.
Fabulous trip. Met up at a coffee shop to get on the van. Less than 20 folks in the tour which made it great to talk with others or hang on your own. Very informational driver/guide. A trip to London would not have been complete without a visit to the countryside. I highly recommend the tour company and this particular adventure.
Excellent Cotswolds tour from Bath today. Very well organised and paced, with enough time to explore without feeling rushed.
Gerry was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. Highly recommended.
Great trip to the cotswold … Out guide ashley was great … He kept things moving along and was most helpful with each town we visited
Highly recommend this tour
It was really wonderful trip, the group was so friendly and the star of the trip is our tour guide and driver Tony… the information and stories he told us was enormous and fabulous… the scenes were incredible and could transfer you into another time.. really loved it
Smooth trip to Cotswolds hitting the highlights, quick trips to villages, amazing food and really cool vintage shops!
This was a very pleasant and entertaining tour. Our guide and driver (John) was extremely knowledgeable and gave us interesting facts along the way. The tour fits a lot of stuff into 8 hours and ends with a visit to Lindores Whisky. Highly recommend!
Jenny was very informative and amazing. She drove us and guided us around and gave us plenty breaks at the correct spots so that we cover all the scenic locations.
This trip provided a very nice overview of the Cotswolds area. David was our guide and he was excellent. Funny and charming! We visited 4 different villages. At each stop he recommended sights to see and places to eat. The bus was comfortable and the number of people was just right. A nice day trip to escape the hustle and bustle of London.
Went by myself on a rainy December day.
Departure location: short walk from the South Kensington Tube station, easy to find. Being able to use the bathroom at Urban Baristas was helpful before a long drive out to our first stop.
Transportation: bus was very clean with comfortable seats &individual climate control, smooth ride. Seats 16 people. Everyone on the bus was respectful of other passengers -no loud noises or rowdiness. Everyone on the tour was punctual at each and every stop so we didn’t have to wait around for late comers.
Tour guide: Len was great; professional, friendly, and knowledgeable . He shared fun historical and trivial facts throughout the drive. He got us back safely to London despite the terrible weather and traffic. The return trip took almost 3 hours.
Cotswolds: very pretty even in the rain. Quaint shops and eateries. Tons of historical sites- the oldest pharmacy in England, oldest inn in England, etc.
Itinerary: good given the short time we had.
Stop #1 Burford stopped for 60 minutes
Stop #2 Bibury stopped for 30 minutes
Stop #3 Bourton-on-the-Water stopped for lunch 90 minutes (food options were not great, the cafe I ate at did not have very good food)
Stop #4 Stow-on-the-Wold stopped for 45 minutes
The driver drove us through small villages lined with stone walls and allowed us to see areas you can’t see when traveling by large buses.
Overall, it was a great tour. I enjoyed it very much despite the weather.
Cotswolds is beautiful and worth a visit. Would love to return in the spring time when flowers are in bloom.
Thank you, Len, for a wonderful day. I made sure to try mushy peas before I left London!
This is a great tour and great way to get a glimpse of the Cotswolds on a budget and if you are time poor.
Chris our drive was full of knowledge and stories. Plenty of time at each stop - definitely recommend.
We have a great time & chatting sections with our pretty lady driver & tour members from other countries. Our driver + tour guide is knowledgeable + fun stories along our journey. Small group makes the trip easily manage according to planned itinerary. The vehicle is clean & comfortable; and can park at private tour parking which is nearby the visiting spots.

A excursão foi ótima. A agência fez tudo certo!
Had a great experience with Go Tours. The departure centre was very easy to locate, which made the start of the day stress-free. Len was an excellent tour guide and driver — very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, adding lots of interesting insights along the way. I really enjoyed the Clarkson’s Farm tour, and going in winter was a big bonus as there was little to no wait to get into the Diddly Squat Farm Shop. The itinerary was well planned, with a good amount of time at each stop to see and enjoy everything without feeling rushed. Would definitely recommend.
Rob was charismatic and knowledgeable. He made our tour significantly better! We had plenty of time at each location on the tour and were able to explore, get food and drinks, and shop wherever shops were available. Highly recommend this tour, it’s well worth the time commitment.
Jenny was really great! Super informative and engaging. She was so knowledgeable about the area and history and told a lot of really interesting stories along the way.
The tour was well organized. The meeting point was convenient. The tour bus was comfortable. Our guide, Tony, gave the right amount of commentary and super interesting trivia on the way to the Cotswolds. Each stop was sufficient, perfect for a sneak peek of the lovely Cotswolds.
Absolutely the best tour I’ve been on! The drive out to the Cotswolds was very comfortable and David (driver & tour leader) was knowledgeable, charming and funny! His commentary was excellent and not too much or too little. The time spent at each village was also just right! If you’ve done the London tours and want a taste of traditional London villages you can’t go wrong with this tour!
Our guide Jenny was simply the best! She was informative and gave us such a great talk about Scottish history. Her tips helped us so much and she was just a joy to have for the day!
Enjoyed the trip out to the various villages and the tips for things to see at every stop from our guide. The winter weather made it even more authentic.
This trip, with the small group, and the most amazing guide, Ash, was an absolute joy
The amount of knowledge Ash provided about everything related to the Cotswold, (and the whole of the UK really) made the tour a much more memorable experience. Ash’s individual attention and humour made the journey enjoyable.
The tour itself was well organised with timing of the visits a great use of time.
I very much appreciated both the design and the presentation of the tour.
Oh and the answer to Ash’s quiz is Rick Astley!
This tour provided an excellent introduction to the Cotswolds with 4 villages visited and free time in each. The information provided by the Guide during the drive was relevant and very interesting. She was also an excellent driver! Highly recommend this tour from London.
