We had a wonderful day in the Cotswolds with Liam as our guide and driver. The small towns where we stopped were very beautiful, and the views along the drive were just as stunning. Liam was a very knowledgeable guide, as well as a safe driver, and he was attentive to us throughout the tour. He also played a lot of great music.
We have been on many tours all over the world, and Liam is right at the top as one of the best guides we’ve had. He truly made it a great day. The other tourists on the bus were also a lovely group.
One of the best guides you've had in all your travels worldwide? That's absolutely incredible praise for Liam, and he'll be thrilled to read this. The music, the safe driving, the attentiveness, and a lovely group to share the day with - sounds like everything came together perfectly. Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a generous review!

The Clarkson's Farm tour from London took us to several sites featured in the TV show. The guide was entertaining and informative about the region we traveled through and we could tell he was a real fan of the show. Although we certainly didn't expect to see anyone from the show, Gerald happened to be mending fences and he popped in our bus to say hi!
Gerald popping onto the bus to say hi? That's absolutely brilliant! What a moment. Sounds like your guide's genuine enthusiasm for the show really came through too. Those unplanned surprises are what make tours memorable. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Cheers, James
Great tour, from start to bottom. Full of interesting tid bits if you like history, great views or whiskey.
St. Andrews its a lovely place and the whiskey... damn it's a shame i cannot buy these bottles easily where im from.
Special mention to our bus driver, guide and entertainer John he was on top of everything with interesting facts, funny stories or just good conversations.
Anna made the whole Cotswolds tour. Warm, genuinely friendly, and knew her stuff without turning it into a lecture. The tour itself was smooth, well-paced, and properly thought through, not one of those rushed, checklist experiences. Easily worth it.
Our family of 4 from the US took this tour. The Mercedes van was nice and in good shape. Check in location was easy to find and the check in process was great. We got there a bit early and since everyone else did as well for our tour we left a bit earlier than planned. Our tour driver was great. We did a sit down lunch which was great food at one stop but next time we would have just grabbed something quick so we could get back the 45 minutes or more to walk the city.
Loved our tour and David was a wonderful guide. Great music selection!
I loved the open format of this tour; once you arrive at a site, you're allowed to wander where you like, see what interest you.
You get to see most of the major tourist sites, and a few lesser know ones. Excellent accommodations on the trip.
A big shout out to our guide, Robert. He even made a slight detour so I could see the village where my great-granddad was born!
Really, the best experience! Thank you!
Robert making that detour to your great-granddad's village is absolutely lovely. Those personal moments are what make tours special, not just the major sites. Really pleased the open format suited you - wandering at your own pace and following what interests you is such a different experience to being herded around as a group. Thanks so much for the kind words!
Cheers, James
My mom and I went on this tour and absolutely loved it! Not only were the sites beautiful, but our tour guide, Liam, made the whole experience even better with his history knowledge and humour. Not to mention, he was a gentleman helping everyone off the bus, and provided great insight into any questions we had related to the UK.
I really enjoyed the Cotswolds tour with the guide Andy! He was very informative and fun. The itinerary was great and the mini bus was very comfortable. The Cotswolds area is beautiful and we had enough time to explore everything. I was staying in Bristol but it was easy to take a train to Bath to take the tour with Mad Max company. I'm Czech and I had a great day as a solo traveller.
From our initial booking until the final goodbye, communication with and from Go Tours UK was exceptional. We were greeted by Rob our driver and guide on the first morning like old friends. The touring van was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Rob provided a detailed briefing at the start and informative, relevant commentary throughout the journey. Whilst travelling played an excellent playlist, as well as providing access to the playlist on Spotify. It will be a wonderful reminder of our journey when back home listening to that music. Accommodation provided was very good. Fantastic range of villages, attractions and remote locations. We cannot recommend this journey highly enough, as well the personal contribution of Rob throughout. Excellent.
The Spotify playlist detail is brilliant - taking a piece of the journey home with you in the music. Rob really does treat everyone like old friends from the start, and it sounds like he delivered on every front from the briefing through to the commentary and those remote locations. Really pleased the accommodation worked out well too. 'Cannot recommend highly enough' means everything to us. Thanks so much for such a thoughtful review! Cheers, James
Went in March with my mother. The pickup and transportation was very reliable and convenient. Our driver Chris S was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendation in each of the four stops. He also made sure to point out any points of interest along our drives.
Excellent tour great guide. James was fantastic knowledgeable funny and kind. Excellent music the entire time.
The tour to Canterbury and the Cliffs of Dover was wonderful! We had just the right amount of time in each location, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I highly recommend!
Really pleased your guide kept the energy up throughout. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

Our day trip through the Coswalds was the perfect blend of fun and ease. Driver Chris S. made us feel right at home, sparking great conversations and sharing thoughtful insights along the way. With smooth start-and-stop locations, comfortable Sprinter bus accommodations, and a fantastic music selection, my wife, daughter, and I soaked in every memorable, scenic moment together.
This was a perfect tour for me. We left on time, bus was small, very relaxed. Our driver, James, gave us great information and history about each town we visited. He was knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver. I especially enjoyed the “no hassle” and ease of the trip. The stops were just long enough. I had good food and tea along the way, saw magical countryside, wildlife (even 2 alpaca hanging out in a yard) and beautiful houses. Barbara put together a super playlist of British artists which was definitely a fun touch! All in all, it was a perfect day! Thank you!
Thanks for joining me on this Cotswolds adventure.
Barbara.
We went on the small group tour to Clarkson Farm. Len was our driver and was very knowledgeable about the area. We were fortunate that the queues were short at all places so we had the opportunity to see more of the Cotswalds
If you at a fan of the show- it is a must do!
We had a fantastic experience on the Small-Group Cotswolds Tour from London. The maximum size for each tour is 16 as we were traveling in a small coach.
Our guide, Christian, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of every place we visited and brought each location to life with his stories. Listening to him as he drove felt like tuning into a personal podcast. He was engaging, informative, and never dull. His history stories were especially interesting. If he were a history teacher, kids will fall in love with the subject!
The whole day was smooth, well-paced, and truly memorable. Highly recommend!
We loved our tour of the Cotswolds. The villages we visited were so charming. Our tour guide, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The entire experience was lovely (despite the rainy UK weather). Would highly recommend this tour!!
Touring the Costswolds in a small, luxury van is the way to go. Our guide Esther was fabulous and provided entertaining and amusing anecdotes about the area throughout the day. There was enough time spent in each location to enjoy the stop. (pro tip: there is a small shop across from where you are dropped off in Avebury where you can buy sandwiches/drinks and which you can enjoy sitting amongst the standing stones)
We had such a lovely time on this tour and greatly due to our tour guide, Jenny. She’s a born storyteller and she weaved her stories and History with quite a bit of humour which we greatly appreciated!
We were really lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy great views the lochs and glens. Bonus: we got to see the famous Highland Coos!
So in short: 10 out of 10, would absolutely recommend!
We had an amazing day in the Cotswolds and our tour guide/driver Christian was a the reason. So fun! Recommend 100%!
We went on a Cotswolds tour with our kind tour guide Bill. He told us many interesting and quirky facts/stories about the stunning places we visited. Our favourite spot was Castle Combe! We definitely recommend going on this tour :)
