Great Tour-Stonehenge/Cotswolds/Castle Combe/Avebury

Excellent choice for a tour of Stonehenge, Cotswolds and Avebury. Our guide, Andy gave an excellent tour. Hit all the spots without any issue and we had a lovely day.

Excellent Tour experience

We had a wonderful experience with Madmax Tours, and a big part of that was thanks to Mr. Bill, our tour driver. He was professional, friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable about the places we visited. Mr. Bill made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He was patient, accommodating, and always willing to answer our questions. His excellent driving skills and positive attitude made our tour enjoyable and stress-free. Lovely Day Tour From Bath

We went with Andy, and we had a TERRIFIC time! It helped that the weather was perfect, but I think we'd have been able to enjoy ourselves just fine regardless. I liked that we went to Stonehenge at the end of the tour day (apparently they used to do it the other way 'round), and we had plenty of time to walk from the visitor center to the site and back. For less mobile folks, there is also a shuttle, but being able to walk over allowed us to see more of the surrounding area, and I was pleased that they gave us time to do so. Avebury was also delightful, and we wouldn't have known to visit otherwise. A memorable and informative day -- Andy was a great guide. I'd highly recommend this experience.

The Cotswolds tour from London

Excellent experience

Everything was easy and smooth. The experience itself was incredible, such a cool trip to do and such beautiful towns. Our guide gave us interesting information along the way and slowed down as we passed a few unique things that we weren’t stopping at. The meeting points in each town were easy to find after we went exploring. Our guide dropped us off at the end of the day nearer to public transport options which was much appreciated. Definitely recommend this tour and this company! Thank you for an excellent experience!

A Wonderful First Taste of Wales

Thank you to Go Tours UK for a lovely Best of Wales tour! Visiting Wales was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment decision for us. We’d never been there before, and we’re so glad we followed our English friend’s advice and chose this tour. The five days were packed with interesting stops, from lovely little towns to abbeys and even a mine. We saw far more than we would have managed on our own in the same amount of time. A special thank you to our guide, David, who was also our driver and did both jobs brilliantly. He was charming, genuinely friendly, and a wonderfully expressive storyteller with such a pleasant voice. It was a real pleasure listening to him. We loved his choice of music, too, and the way he used both stories and songs to give us a taste of British culture along the way. He made everyone feel at ease, and with such a lovely small group and a comfortable minibus, even the longer drives were enjoyable. Aberystwyth was a particular highlight, and we loved our hotel there. The weather actually added to the experience. It made the sea and the coastline feel all the more dramatic and atmospheric.
