Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park
Wales' largest national park, covering 823 square miles of mountains, valleys and charming villages where more than half the locals still speak Welsh.
Harlech Castle
Part of King Edward I's ring of 13th-century fortresses, perched on a rocky outcrop with panoramic views across Eryri and out to the Irish Sea.
Tyddewi (St Davids)
Britain's smallest city, home to a magnificent cathedral and the ruins of the medieval Bishop's Palace, both founded by Wales' patron saint.
Dinbych-y-pysgod (Tenby)
Pastel-coloured houses, sandy beaches and medieval town walls. Explore this charming harbour town at your own pace on our final evening.
Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons)
Rolling peaks, wide valleys and the Black Mountains rising to the east. We cross this stunning national park on our way to the market town of Brecon.
Cas-gwent (Chepstow) Castle
The oldest surviving post-Roman stone castle in Britain. Dating from 1067, it sits high on the cliffs above the River Wye at the gateway into Wales.
Sain Ffagan (St Fagans)
Over fifty original buildings from across Wales, rebuilt in 100 acres of parkland. A free open-air museum capturing centuries of Welsh life and architecture.
