St Andrews & Whisky tour from Edinburgh

We took their trip to St. Andrew’s and a Whisky Tasting. In addition we visited Loch Levin with its connection to Mary Queen of Scots and a stop in Falkland, which was a filming site of the Outlander Series. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable about the area and told some great stories with fun music to highlight specific parts of our trip. It was a great value for the money! Try GO Tours!

This was a very pleasant and entertaining tour. Our guide and driver (John) was extremely knowledgeable and gave us interesting facts along the way. The tour fits a lot of stuff into 8 hours and ends with a visit to Lindores Whisky. Highly recommend!

This tour was so easy going and relaxing and took us to all the places we wanted to see. Plenty of free time to shop or have a meal. Nothing was too much trouble, John was such a joy to spend a day with. So knowledgeable and a great photographer too

John was a good driver, very knowledgeable, and wonderful to talk to! It was a great day tour, and I loved how you went off, did your own thing, and prioritized what you wanted to see. 100% would recommend.

Jenny was an amazing guide. She told us lots of history, gave us great recs at each location and plenty of time to explore. The playlist was a nice touch.

Great tour, from start to bottom. Full of interesting tid bits if you like history, great views or whiskey.
St. Andrews its a lovely place and the whiskey... damn it's a shame i cannot buy these bottles easily where im from.
Special mention to our bus driver, guide and entertainer John he was on top of everything with interesting facts, funny stories or just good conversations.

Great tour and way to see several places in a day. St.Andrews is beautiful and Lindores Abbey tour is in depth and knowledgeable. I would absolutely go back to both. Our guide was informative and friendly. She was also very considerate of our time and wanted to make sure we were having the best experience. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day trip from Edinburgh.

I would have appreciated more stories about Peoples lives, not only Kings and nobles.

Very nice day trip. Clean bus and excellent guide. My husband wanted to see the golf course and we had plenty of time to walk around and shop.

a very enjoyable day out through picturesque Fife to St Andrews and then on to the lovely little distillery near the Tay. Jenny was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Ample time to explore St Andrews and I would thoroughly recommend this tour, especially the views from both road bridges across the Forth.

We joined from Edinburgh to St Andrews tour. Booking process was easy. Because we booked last minute Glenn made every effort to accommodate us in the whiskey tour. John was a great driver and friendly and knowledgeable host who kept the group entertained all throughout the journey. Every site stop selected in our journey was great. They are just starting tours in Scotland don't let the low number of reviews keep you away. It exceeded expectations highly recommended!!

We had a great day touring with John through some of Scotland’s most historic and picturesque locations a short distance from Edinburgh. Our two couples traveling together particularly enjoyed the intimate group size which allowed for a relaxed pace, easy conversation, and plenty of personal attention from John. The itinerary was well designed with short drives along scenic roads with just enough time at each stop. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a relaxed, enriching day trip from Edinburgh.
